Welcome to the South Carolina Hunter and Jumper Association’s Web site!
The South Carolina Hunter and Jumper Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to maintain accurate records for its membership, establish fair rules for horse shows, memberships, judges and stewards, and create a yearly calendar for horse shows. The Association is governed by a Board of Directors with four officers and an Executive Secretary. The Association sponsors an "A" rated horse show in the spring, the South Carolina Governor’s Cup Finals in the Fall and the Palmetto Medal Finals at the end of the horse show year. The South Carolina Hunter and Jumper Association also hosts an annual awards banquet where both riders and horses are recognized for their achievements during the past year.
Membership in the South Carolina Hunter and Jumper Association is open to riders, horses, farms and friends. In order for points to count toward year-end awards, the rider and the horse must be a member of the South Carolina Hunter and Jumper Association. Points begin to accumulate when the membership is received or renewed.
The purpose of our web site is to provide current information to members and friends on point standings, rule changes, show dates, applications and report forms.
